Jody Ann has spent over 15 years honing her skills in properly and safely posing newborn babies, including using proper equipment, luxury props and wraps in a rainbow of colours along with tried and true soothing techniques. Sessions are personalized to your newborn, making every shoot uniquely exclusive.
You also have the option to bundle a custom maternity session into your package with substantial savings.
Book your shoot as early as the second trimester to secure your spot as we only schedule a small amount of sessions per month to give each client our absolute best.

At JAC Photography, we want to reassure you that your baby's safety is our utmost priority. Every session is conducted with meticulous care, and we adhere to well trusted safety protocols and years of research and midwife advice (not to mention I am a mama of 4 myself!).
From the choice of props and fabrics, to the trusted soothing techniques, to the gentle handling of your newborn, we prioritize creating a secure and comfortable environment. Our 15+ years of experience with hundreds of newborn babes, ensures that each pose and setup is executed with the well-being of your baby in mind, allowing you to relax and enjoy the precious moments while we capture them safely and beautifully.
Your trust in us is valued, and we are committed to delivering not only stunning images but also peace of mind knowing that your little one is in safe hands throughout the entire session.
Flexible Scheduling Around Due Date:
Sessions are tentatively scheduled around your due date, and once your baby arrives, a quick text, call, or email within 48 hours allows us to finalize the session within 2-3 weeks of birth. For scheduled inductions or c-sections, we can book your session in advance.
Limited Bookings for Personalized Attention:
We take a limited number of bookings each month to ensure that you receive the care and attention you deserve. From the moment you reach out to us, we are committed to being available every step of the way, making your experience seamless and enjoyable.
Sessions are available Monday to Friday at 10:30 am, lasting 3-4 hours. This extended time allows for the baby's lead, ensuring plenty of moments for cuddles, feeding, and soothing. Please note that our studio is closed on weekends.
Artful Retouching and Editorial Editing:
Your images undergo meticulous artful hand retouching and editorial editing, creating a collection that is not only beautiful but also reflects the unique beauty of your newborn.
Personalized Vision Planning:
Once booked, complete a "getting to know you" questionnaire, allowing us to understand your preferences. This information helps us plan your vision, ensuring that the colors and types of images you love are incorporated into your session.

All-Inclusive Studio Experience:
We provide all props, outfits, and sets, so you only need to bring yourselves and your sweet baby. Our in-home studio in Sundance, SE, is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and stress-free session.
Unlimited Setups and Poses:
Experience the freedom of unlimited setups and poses during your custom session. Baby always runs the show, and we follow their lead to capture as many poses as they allow in our time together. A newborn gallery typically showcases between 35-60 images for you to choose from.
Inclusive Family and Sibling Poses:
Family and sibling poses are included at no extra charge. Our sessions are crafted to include everyone in these heartwarming moments.
